This clock is wonderful. The numbers are VERY easy to see in the dark without glasses. The illumination is soft (on the low setting) and the alarm is effective yet not jarring. The best part is the little built-in light. I expected this clock to be okay, based on the reviews, but it is so MUCH better. I LOVE IT . ! I use the night light all the time. II like the nice solid and satisying click of the button when you set the time. I recently had to replace my original clock because it fell on it's head and the snooze bar/light got squished in. After the fall it also made a high-pitched tiny noise. I could have lived with it but I love this clock so much that I wanted one in peak condition. The new improvements as noted in the ad are very good. I especially like the adjustable dimmer. This is not the fanciest clock in the world but it is super easy to read at night and it has the awesome built in light. Trea yourself to a new light. Also,I hope you will consider revisiting the slogan "It's So Easy a Grandma Can Use It". I know you are trying to be cute but it's not.
