Fantastic muzzle! I purchased this muzzle because my 2 yo border collie/Shepherd mix attacked my super friendly, low-key beagle. During our walks, she pulls, lunges, snarls, and barks at other people & dogs. She paces around our apartment & demands attention. This muzzle prevents all the unwanted behavior I just listed. Don't get me wrong, she's also an intelligent, playful, & joyful puppy; however, we can't train her while she's distracted attacking others. The muzzle's rubber material is gentle on her skin, despite her pressing against it. The cage-like containment prevents biting, barking, & snarling. It also allows her to easily breathe, eat, drink water, & recieves treats. The muzzle size is snug & well attached to keep it in place whenever she rubs her head on the ground or paws at it in an attempt to remove it. The soft straps attach from her snout, over her head, & connects to her collar to keep the muzzle in place. The 2nd strap connects to the bottom of the muzzle to her collar, & the 3rd strap connects to the bottom of her muzzle to clipping to a leash. The 3rd strap allows you to effortlessly prevent lunging, with little pressure applied. The overall construction creates a submissive, attentive attitude in which I can effectively train her towards acceptable social behavior. After 2 days using the muzzle during training sessions, she has stopped attacking my beagle, snarling & growling at home, & pacing around my apartment. In fact, she even played with my beagle!! I strongly recommend this muzzle. Make sure you measure the snout according to the listed sizing chart in the product's description. The muzzle must fit correctly in order to give you results.
