I recently had an older cat pass away from Liver Cancer, prior to her passing the vet told me to take her home and make her comfortable. The vet probably didn't know the lengths I would go to for my precious....I went online and researched finding out that cats in their final days love warmth and have a hard time regulating their body temperature as their bodies start to fail- I bought 3 of these my sick kitty has 2 beds she alternated in and I have another cat who likes her bed in the window. I put each pad in a kitty bed and wrapped fleece around the edges of the bed, THEY LOVED THEM!!!! They are actually quite warm when they lay on them for hours on end, but without being TOO hot (which I also worried about) -I wonder if they make these for human beds haha. Seriously though, these things are amazing quality for the price and I'm glad I purchased them.
