I bought this Vilso Motorized HD Antenna because my Cox cable was costing too much and I needed to part ways with Cox. It was easy to put together, the instructions were OK but not the best, and it worked like a charm after I figured out how to use it. Took about 1 hour total time to complete my install ( I did not go on the roof) and an additional 1/2 hour to figure out the best way to use the remote and main controller. I don't like the super bright red light on the main control box or how big the box is, or that the control box has to be in a direct line of sight location (near the TV) to point the remote to, to rotate the antenna motor. The coax cable that comes with it is long enough for my needs but if your TV is far from the location you want to mount the antenna, you may need to buy a longer coax cable. The antenna itself seems like it's made of low quality plastic and aluminum but it's not expensive either so what can I expect. It works and I've been using it now for a few weeks with no problems. I actually mounted it on an automotive or garage work-space flood light stand. It fit perfectly on my tripod floodlight stand which I can take anywhere I need a portable HD TV (football games?). Anyhow, for what I paid, it seems to be worth it for now. We will see how long it lasts. If this review was helpful to you, please check the yes box. Thank you.
