I bought this product because I needed a reliable salad container that didn't leak or spill. I read positive reviews on the container and dressing holder. Well, they were wrong. The container itself holds a salad well enough however, the dressing conponent is a waste. The lid doesn't stay on at all. Not even slightly. I found out the hard way. I walked into my work unknowingly dripping oil and vinegar dressing into my bag, my books, and my computer. A tiny bit of oil goes a long way and smells delightful when you open up your rather expensive college textbooks in class and everyone thinks you just ate a hoagie in the parking lot. (Note the sarcasm.) So, yes the container works fine. Just don't pack your salad dressing with your salad. I've heard dry greens are really in right now. EDIT: My previous review of this product stated how unhappy I was with the functionality of the product. The company contacted me and immediately sent me a replacement of both my salad container and soup container. I couldn't be happier with their customer service. I was actually amazed at the length they went to get me a new product and check to see if I liked it . The new container works well. I only noticed that the salad dressing holder lid is not as tight as i would like it to be, however it gets the job done. I wouldn't turn the thing upside down and carry it around all day, but if the container is in an upright position I'm not too worried about it.
