loved it loved it loved - so sorry to see it end
After reading that this was the final season I started to watch, got incredibly addicted so binged all four seasons. Incredibly smart snarky, sarcastic with such incredibly well drawn, hilarious, flawed yet touching characters. Horgan and Delaney are so watchable and charismatic even at their most jerky or angry. For those commenting negatively on the politics this season - if you live in England, Brexit is such a huge historical crossroad and must be all pervasive as is Trumpism in the United States-- and are topics touched discussed among thinking people - which are what Horgan and Delaney's characters are. To NOT mention either event would be antithetical to the truthfulness and realness of the characters and their circumstances. Further, I note that Horgan and Delaney have dealt humorously with existential dread from the very first episode so to veer very briefly into politics seems quite organic. That being said, there are so FEW mentions of politics in relation to the series as a whole (it mostly exists in the bubble of the main characters - their home work family and small circle of friends) that I am surprised those very few mentions are so impactful to some of the reviewers. It should not dissuade anyone from watching as it hardly a focus (not even close) of any episode. As with the best series, when there are no more episode to watch you immediately miss these characters. Very much looking forward to their next projects, even though Horgan's "DIVORCE" for HBO, unfortunately, was a bit of a misfire. WATCH THIS.
