One Light to Rule Them All...
Immediately below is my first review. Below that are my updates. Disclaimer: I purchased this light for myself and was not, nor am I being paid or compensated for this review in any way by either the manufacturer, the supplier or Amazon.Com.

That may be quite the boast. Ha! But having owned many lights through the years, (including Maglite, Surefire, Zebra Light, etc.) and loving many of them, I could never find the one that met all of my personal and duty lighting needs. There were always too many unbalanced trade offs. That is....until now.
Received the package on April 26, 2014. It arrived sooner than they told me so I am very happy with my seller and Amazon. It came with an Eagletac 18650 rechargeable battery a Lanbo single battery charger and a keychain light.
First, I was immediately impressed with the feel, size and weight of the light. It feels well constructed. The machining was flawless and the LED was dead center. The finish of the light had no visible defects. The PD35 performed flawlessly. Turbo at 850 Lumens is unbelievable. The Youtube video reviews just do not do it justice. This light has excellent throw and even better spill. I can light up an acre plot of land and beyond like it's daylight. I took a chance and let it sit in a bowl of cold water for about 15 minutes while it was on and it was fine. No water or moisture behind the lens and no ingress of the water as I activated both buttons several times while submersed.
The included belt pouch is cheap but works. I guess they're trying to include features without jacking up the cost. I have used the pouch and it does it's job. I carried it, all through AG Day at UD with my family, in my front pocket with the clip. It was comfortable and I forgot it was there. It rode better than my Surefire because the crenellations would just eat through my jeans. This is the biggest light I will carry in my pocket and being cylindrical in shape makes it more comfortable than the Surefire.
I will probably only ever have it set on the medium (170 Lumens for 7hrs+) setting for work (I'm and EMT and currently in Medic School) as that provides an impressive amount of light vs. battery duration. I like the Economy mode (10 Lumens for 140hrs)as it provides just enough light for reading or paperwork and doesn't blind you. But playing with it now every night since I've gotten it, I am impressed and glad to know that there is 850 Lumens there when I need it. It still has to prove to me that it's as "bomb proof" as my Surefire E2D LED Defender, but the quality is there and the light it brings to the game is, in my opinion, unmatched.
Just to mention, it does indeed come with an extra tail cap rubber and two spare O-rings as well as the lanyard. I do in fact use the lanyard, because at times, I just cannot afford to waste time on retrieval if I drop my light. Also the small key chain light was included and is a decent quality. Gave it to my wife to keep on her keys. Also the Charger does have multi color light. When you plug it in empty the light will be green. Once the battery is in it turns red. Once it's almost charged it turns yellow and then to green for full charge. Again, a cheap charger, but gets the job done for now.
All together I think this is a very good bundle set at a fair price. So far I can say that I will be purchasing a couple more of these in time. One to keep in my duty bag, one for EDC and one to keep in the house. I am highly impressed with this light.
I would highly, highly, recommend this light to anyone looking for a quality EDC or duty light. I will update this as I abuse this light (as I am notoriously hard on my equipment) or if I run into any problems.

Well, I know it's only been 12 days but...It exceeds expectations. First, I carelessly left the light on the hood of my truck overnight. I got home late from school and it was pouring out. I set it down and forgot it. It had rained all night. The light was fine. No moisture behind the bezel or in the body. It worked perfectly. Second, two days ago I dropped it from the second floor balcony onto concrete while it was on. I have to be honest, I thought that was the end of it. I watched it drop. The light never even flickered when it hit bezel first and rolled to a stop. Still works great and the only sign of the drop is some minor scaring on one side of the bezel.
As a couple of side notes: In the 12 days I've owned it I have only charged the battery when I received it. I have used it multiple times every night since then, normally on medium (170 Lumens for 7 hours) setting, thought sometimes playing with the 850 Lumen Turbo setting, and still not had to charge it. Also, I have usually carried it in the supplied holster and that seems (though a cheap one) to be holding up well so far. I have also carried it in my right front pocket using the supplied clip. I'm a big guy so take it as you will, but, it rides very comfortably for it's size and stays put. As an EMT and Medic student I do a "lot" of kneeling and lifting and the PD35 has not worked it's way out of my pocket yet.
I am loving this light so far! I am very, very happy with it and would highly recommend it.

It's still going. I still use the light on a nightly basis. Easily tied for first place with my Surefire light, if not surpassed it. It has been dropped several more times since I purchased it and hasn't flinched. I did start to notice a small hiccup when the tail cap switch would have to be pressed more than once to turn on. An online search and one You Tube video later, I popped it open and with a needle nose pliers, a q-tip some rubbing alcohol and five minutes, I had the contacts all clean and she works like new.
This is not a disposable light. I "oiled" the gaskets and cleaned the contacts. If that's all I have to do once a year to keep this light going then it's a winner. Two weeks ago it was left on the deck in the rain, and then freezing, rain and still no leaks. Works perfectly. I can't say enough good things about this light. I still highly recommend it. It is proving itself equal to my Surefire, which I love dearly. I can, at this time, see it lasting me many years.
Just as a side note: (This is more about the power supply than the light) I have switched to the CR 123 batteries for the winter. The rechargeable 18650's seem to lose a considerable amount of run time when in the cold for long periods. Since I'm in EMS, more often than not, I'm outside in the cold. Not a problem as a I usually carry a couple as back ups anyway. Switching to the CR 123's has fixed that problem all together. So, If you're outside with the light in very cold temps for extended times you may want to consider it.

I have had this light for over two years now and it is still going strong! I use it every night and carry it on every shift. It hasn't failed yet. I have dropped it several more times, Ive dropped it into streams and the surf at the beach, used it in freezing conditions in the winter and downpours in the summer. I have had no water ingress at all. I have carried it both in the included pouch and, quite often in my pocket and I am very pleased with this light. The coating is holding up well with, surprisingly, very little wear to show for it, other then some minor battle scars. Chicks dig scars anyway...LOL I would, two years later of constant daily?nightly use, highly recommend this light. Since I've had it several of my coworkers and friends in law enforcement have purchased one and they have all been very happy with it.
This will be my last update unless something tragic happens to this light. As an aside, the cheap belt holster it came with is still holding up! Who knew? One more thing.... I purchased the NiteCore P12 2015 edition a week ago. Great light, a competitor with Fenix for sure and even though that light is 1000 Lumens and a little more throw I have already relegated it as my back-up. It didn't have the needed light levels and while it throws a little better and has 150 more lumens I was not happy with the beam pattern. So, back to the old faithful PD35. You really can't go wrong with this light!
