Pacific Crest Trail Worthy
I planned a PCT thru-hike beginning May 10, 2019. I was hesitant to buy this at first, just because it's an unknown brand and there weren't very many reviews about long-distance hiking with it. Well let me tell you, this tent fn rocks! It's a high quality 2p tent that's able to withstand INTENSE winds over and over. I used this tent my entire thru-hike and didn't have one issue. The tent stakes were perfect, but take extra just in case. I don't think I broke a tent stake until about mile 500. Absolutely ZERO problems in the rain or snow and compared to all the name brand "thru-hiking tents", this beat them all on condensation in the morning. I did get it pretty wet a few times, but it dried so fast during or lunch breaks. I even did a couple hundred miles on the CDT with this tent and am planning a 2020 AT hike. I will def be taking this tent with me. From my thru-hiking experience, the featherlight Granite 2p tent is almost an identical replica of the MSR Hubba Hubba. I still think this was better and easier to set up. Ask questions if you have any. I know everything about this tent. It could be a little lighter, but I chose to sacrifice for the heavy durability of the ground cover. It's good quality. I may get a new one for the AT just because they're soooo cheap in price. Absolutely amazing tent! -Happy PCT Class of 2019
