Was nice until the first wash. Same machine I always use, machine wash (like instructed) cold on delicate, by itself. Skirt ripped and one of the quilts broke open, releasing puffballs everywhere that are a pain to clean up. It's too bad since I really like the concept of the company (American made and veteran owned), especially since I'm also in the service. I'm willing to believe that this is a defective item, and may give one of this company's higher end mattress toppers a try. Regardless, this particular experience has sucked. Further edit: I will say that the company's customer service is very responsive and courteous. The company's CEO has given me the assurance that this product was a defective anomaly. Thus, an additional star. Buy with confidence, as even if the product fails, the company will do the right thing. Further edit: Company has been professional and courteous in following interactions. Other product has held up well, so I have confidence this was an anomaly. Five stars. As a courtesy to the company, I will add an additional note that two other products purchased from them, which are the same thing but made from bamboo, are holding up much better and are performing well. However, they come at a much higher premium, and I have yet to wash them. EDIT: I have washed them, and they survived the first wash!
