So far so good. I've had this for 3 months now and it stayed yellow most of the time. I thought maybe it was broken but I tested the ammonia levels with a kit and they show the same as this chart. After I came back from a vacation the circle had turned light blue. I immediately tested the water and the meter was correct, levels were high. I did a 75% water change and within 2 days the circle was back to yellow and my scaly friend was just fine. BUY THIS if you value the longevity of your scaled companion. My old betta Reeba (R.I.P) got fin rot due to ammonia in the water that I had no idea about. I don't plan on letting that happen again and neither should you. *I have NOT received any product free or discounted for review. Thus, all opinions are strictly my own.
