Yes its a 300 dollar over sized dust buster but WOW this thing really Sucks! Usually when something sucks its a bad thing but this is a vacuum so forget the gimmicks and hype the massive amount suction is really the only thing that matters. Had it less than one day, we all love it, and its even so lite my 4 year old daughter can use it. We have hard surface floors in all but the bed rooms, with vinyl, tile, and wood floors so I didn't opt to upgrade to any of the bigger Dyson cordless models which are really just improved for carpet cleaning. Some say the charge time isn't enough but I have 2600 sqft and was able to do all the hard surfaces including the stairs with out even a hint of battery drain. The stairs WOW soooo much easier and cleaner than trying to sweep. You don't have to get the brush head directly over the dirt just push it to the edges of the walls and watch the dirt get sucked up don't even really need the crevice tool for day to day cleaning. Also passes the cat litter test and just sucks it all up rather than shooting it all over the place like a normal vacuum. One trick when looking for a place to wall mount is to remove the extension tube and head so you don't need as much space to swing the unit out of the base station.
