I bought this for a somewhat unusual need: my English bulldog tends to develop dry, cracked skin around his nostrils. I've tried other creams and ointments, including a few his vet recommends, but for whatever reason, my bulldog doesn't tolerate them - he just rubs up against the nearest soft material he can find (often, my pants!) and wipes it off. To my surprise, he doesn't do any of this with the Aquaphor - he tolerates it well, and it does a wonderful job of improving his skin. After just a few weeks, his skin has improved dramatically thanks to the Aquaphor.
