BUY THIS !! I am not a paid reviewer- Seriously if you have a dog that needs grooming you know how difficult it is to keep their bottoms clear of fur - 2 weeks after grooming and it needs a trim - I am THRILLED with this !! I have actually nicked my poor shitzu trying to get her bottom trimmed with scissors and even the groomer can’t groom close enough - well this trimmer allows to get a very close trim in seconds !! It has very little noise- trims amazing and close but most of all it is incapable of injuring or cutting sensitive areas - you can put your finger in it - I don’t know how it cuts so well without any feeling of sharpness- this would work on pads but I found it hard to do around her eyes- but that’s because I am afraid I will cut to much -maybe with practice it would work well - for now I still use my scissors carefully to get close to her eyes- but I may try these clippers again for her eyes because nothing is worth injury your beloved pet- Anyhow this is a must have for people who need to frequently groom their pets sensitive areas and I feel the money is well worth the safety !!! It takes batteries - SOO WORTH IT !! Oh and my baby seriously sat there and was not in the least bit of distress while using this !!!
