I have been dealing with scalp plaque psoriasis for a long time (since I was a teen) and if you have ever had to deal with it, you know what I have been through. I wash my hair and it only seems to make the "flakes" more noticeable, because it releases the scaly skin off my scalp. I have black hair and it is naturally curly and really thick, which makes it hard to get all of the "flakes" out without completely separating the curls and creating an afro! Brushing my hair also scraped off more skin. I am Irish/Welch, so I have large "soft" curls not tight curls. Anyway... I use this brush in the shower when I have the Just Natural psoriasis shampoo in my hair and the results are simply amazing!!! I also use the conditioner. My scalp was visibly better within just 2 washings, the red bloody sores started to heal and the scaly skin started to sluff off. Within a few weeks, I had almost completely healed. Now, it is not a miracle, I still get build up and have to make sure to really scrub my scalp in the shower, but this brush has had a lot to due with the success.
