There was a drug I was taking because it was an inexpensive generic. Sounds like "met boardman". I was experiencing side effects that made me sorry to be alive. The only medical place to go from there was on to these new designer drugs that cost hundreds of dollars/month... which don't actually change anything, like cure diabetes. Since switching to Berberine, the unpleasant side effects are done! I can take a ride in a car without bowel accidents! I now take vitamins/herbs that have been found to compliment berberine. Online, there is a ton of research supporting this herb as an alternative to met boardman. Feeling much better!
