I'll be completely honest - bought this mattress because it was cheap, cheap cheap. But surprisingly, it's actually a pretty good mattress.I t's a lot more comfortable than it looks, especially when lying down. It's very firm - rock solid and great for your back. You might not like it if you prefer a soft mattress. This item actually lives up to its description - it really doesn't squeak at all, and it's hard to imagine there's actually springs at all inside this. There are only two issues that keep it from perfection - first, the fact that it's only 6 inches might make the difference in your bed height. I personally like to play video games or watch TV from my bed, and it's hard to see because of the low angle. The second issue is the packaging - when they say vacuum sealed, they mean SEALED. That plastic was pen-proof, knife proof, nail-proof, and I wouldn't be surprised if it was bullet-proof as well. Still, this is a solid mattress at a bargain price and I recommend it to all non-millionaires who just need a mattress to sleep on.
