I was a little worried because the main part is plastic and it also requires assembly. It wasn't quite what I expected. But after I looked at the instructions, and installed it on my glass shower door, I was impressed. I pulled really hard on the side and it proved to be very strong. You can continue to tighten the suction by twisting the center post. I think it will be a lot stronger than the suction hooks that are normally sold (which always fall off every few days). Plus, it comes with adhesive adapters so you can use it on other types of surfaces too. Overall, pretty happy.
