I originally started taking Ioderal (12.5 mg) to get rid of fibrocystic breast disease, this could take several months or more to work and I am still hopeful that it will work. On the fourth day of taking Ioderal, one pill the first day and 2 pills the other days my hair stopped falling out - what a pleasant surprise. It was really bad, I had to clean off the floor mat of my car daily with all of the fallen out hair, this had been going on for about a year. After a couple of weeks of taking Ioderal most of my spider veins disappeared, I only have a few left, another pleasant surprise. I will not need the painful, expensive injections to get rid of them for spring/summer. I am up to 4 pills a day and on day 34 and my hair looks fuller and the spider veins are still gone. Other things that I did that I think helped were to stop taking perscription estradiol patches and switching to estriol cream (Smokey Mountain Nutrition). Per Dr. Brownstein an authority on iodine to make the iodine work you also have to take selenium, magnesium, B vitamins & get rid of estrogen dominance which I did. It's like baking a cake, leave out one ingredient and the cake will not taste good. If I can get rid of the fibrocystic breast disease using Ioderal I will write another review.
