It's beautiful and well-made! Happily, the hummingbirds really do use the little resting tabs behind the drinking spots as shown in picture two. They seem to stick around longer on this one. The one I had previously did not have the resting tabs. I think they like it, too. They flit back and forth and argue about who gets to drink. I get so much enjoyment from watching them. My favorite practical aspect of the feeder is the bottom well. It's where the nectar rests and they get their drinks. The piece is actually two separate pieces and a silicone(?) seal. This makes washing it and removing all the goop that might affect the birds so much easier. It is a wonderful time saver. The feeder comes with an ant inhibitor which works wonders. The one in my front yard had to be cleaned out at least every other day due to the number of ants that came to steal the nectar. Here's where cleaning is so much easier. My previous bottom was all one solid piece. Try getting tons of tiny ants out of that. Ug! It was a long, drawn-out process. This one unscrews and you rinse. So easy! I love this feeder. The glass is thick and I have no worries about breakage. You get form and function for a very reasonable price and I'm going to get at least two more.
