SEE BOTTOM OF REVIEW IF NEED INFO ON HOW TO CONNECT THIS INTEX PUMP TO INTEX POOLS WHERE THE HOSES DON'T FIT THE POOL. Love this pump as an update from the "dinky" pump that came with the Intex pool we have. Much better job. It has a timer which is nice. However, the only way we figured out how to connect the larger hoses on this pump with our Intex pool with smaller intake holes was from reading reviews from users and collecting notes. Maybe there are many pools with the size of connection intake openings in the pool, but we have a popular larger size Intex pool, and we have had different sizes in past - all with smaller intake holes. I suspect Intex realizes this IS a common problem because on the box of the pump it says in small letters that no adjustment connectors are included. The pain in the rump that made this process no fun, and could really be so easily avoided is if Intex offered some information somewhere about this. LIKE: On the pump box under the info that says there are no adjusting connectors included. ONE MORE LINE WITH A FEW PLACES TO FIND THE CONNECTORS WOULD BE GREAT!!! Or in the description, on their website with either the pool or pump descriptions, or with any clear info on the various parts available. I received all ideas and figured out what to buy purely from reviews of pool users. So: Below are parts and the pool we have. I have no idea if this is ideal set-up. None. But it works pretty well.
