Like It Better Than Playstation Vue and Sling
When first doing cord-cutting, I tried Sling. So many technical issues with that one, so I tried Playstation Vue. That was an improvement, but buffering issues were happening way too often to the point of being annoying. And, with some recorded shows, I've found on occassion when they are played back, the only content is the commercials run over and over and not the content. Ridiculous!
I decided to try Hulu Live TV and I've run into no buffering or content access issues so far. I use my Amazon Fire TV remote and can tell it "Tune in to CBS on Hulu" and within a few seconds, it's streaming what's on CBS now.
I do like that with it comes access to the Hulu TV and movies library - it's nice to be able to watch classics like "Alfred Hitchcock Presents" for example. The price for a month is $40 after the free trial period. PlayStation Vue is raising it's price to $45 per month.
My only suggestion for improvement at this time is that I'd prefer it to have a grid-style guide display. Considering that I don't have to deal with buffering and content issues anymore, I can live without that.
