Works well without problems
I've tried at least two other analog A/V to USB converters in the past and sent them back because either they didn't install correctly at all or produced very small, poor quality digital video copies.
This device installed flawlessly on my Windows 10 desktop machine. I didn't use the included CD, but instead downloaded the latest drivers directly from Honestech. I followed the installation instructions exactly and allowed time for everything to install.
I used the program so far to save an MPG file from an old VHS tape and to record a DVD using my PC's DVD burner. In both situations, everything was flawless. The mpg file was full-screen with quality equal to that of the VHS tape (old home movie). I haven't played with some of the other features of the program, but so far I'm pleased with this device and the software. It is serving the purpose for which I bought it.
