I am so pleased with this litter box you wouldn't even understand!! I have always used the cheap basic boxes from Walmart which have been fine for my 2 babies but I have recently moved in with my sister who has 2 old cats that also like to use my box. . . Her boy in particular is a "standing pee-er," meaning his pee seeps through the plastic latches which keeps the lid on. I have been on a search for a new box since realizing this as I can't afford for him to ruin the carpet with his pee seeping out and it's just disgusting when you pull the lids off to scoop. Thus, my search for a new box began. This box has a high back and sides so he can't target those areas and the pee doesn't seep through. Also the front is high enough that my little digger cannot dump cups of litter out of the box as he finds a spot. The box is nice and roomy for them all, no matter their size. I was worried because there's no filter or door that I'd smell fresh poos but I have to say as long as you use good litter you'll be fine! My only complaint is there's no handle on the lid for easy moving.... I don't know why and I didn't even think about it until I received it but considering everything i love about it, I can deal.
