I *almost* returned this item because the installation instructions were unclear! Step #3 says: "Make sure to put a washer into the conical and hex nut of hose and connect it to handheld shower head and bracket." However, it should really say: "Remove the clear plastic pieces from each end of the hose. Then remove the GREEN pieces on the end of each side of the hose by using the head of a flathead screwdriver and turning/prying. Once these parts are removed, check to see if a washer is already in place.* If a washer is not in place, please place one of the provided washers into place on each end of the hose and connect the conical end to the handheld shower and the hex nut end to the bracket." (*Mine already had a washer on the hex end but I didn't realize it and also added one of the 2 provided washers. When I tried to screw it into place, it wouldn't go. Then I took out the washer, realized it already had a washer, and tried to put it on again with just the one washer. It went on easily.) I never write reviews but I wanted others to know this before they got frustrated like me and returned a perfectly good product.
