Bought this to use instead of sleeping on the floor on trips. It beats the floor hands down. For the price it was an easy decision. I bought this along with an air pump from the same company Intex Giant Bellows Foot Pump and they work well together. This isn't as big as a twin mattress, but it fits under a sleeping bag so it doesn't need to be wide. Because of it's size it packs down very small and is quick to inflate and deflate. I've used this traveling with big groups, sleeping on the floor at a friends place, and to avoid sharing a double bed in a hotel.
