Purchased 2 of these kits for under cabinet lighting in my kitchen (needed the extra length). I modified it a bit so I didn’t have to see any wires and didn’t want the electrical plug or wires to be visible anywhere. I drilled a small hole in the cabinet above the microwave and ran the wires above the cabinets (electrical outlet is in the cabinet above the microwave). The RF wireless adapter is in the cabinet as well and works fine. I used some 20awg wire and soldered directly to the clips included with the light strips (see pictures) so I had enough length of wire and used some standard 2.1x5.5mm connectors to wire the whole thing up. I'm using a 1to5 splitter to send power out to each of 3 separate strands (see parts list below). A single 12v adapter from one of the kits is powering the entire strand of lights ~12ft in length with no problems. This kit is included with non-standard 3.5x1.35mm connectors you will need an adapter to make this work with standard 2.1x5.5mm connectors which are readily available.
