The Govee Alexa LED Strip Lights comes with the LED light strip, a power cord, remote control, a few additional items for securing the light strip and wipes to clean the area you will be installing the lights on. To power the LED light strip just plug the light strip to the power cord then plug the cord into your wall socket. You can control the lights via the attached control box or the provided remote control. What I immediately liked about this product was that you did not have to download the software in order to use. Similar products require downloading an app and programming before using. The Govee Strip Light also offers those features, but, are not required to install and test. We knew we wanted to use the lights to give my daughters dresser some digital lighting bling and also more lighting in the room when the ceiling lights are turned off. The LED light strip is slightly longer than 16 ft and I knew this would be enough to border the dresser and mirror. You simply tear off the back adhesive tape and press firmly against the item or wall you are installing the light on. What is really nice about this product is its is very thin which makes for an easy install and the light beads don’t pop out which gives it a nice glow. After ten minutes the dresser got its groove back. We were able to modify the colors and transition mode. This product also offers a mode where the lights light up on beat to music! We will soon setup with the Govee app and have it voice activated through Alexa. Overall this product works as described and in my opinion is a great value for the product and quality. I am highly impressed of how easy the installation was, how well the lights worked and the finished result. Therefore I rate this product a five out of five stars and would recommend to anyone who wants to create a great mood lighting to a room.
