Very happy with the Old Edition panels (RNG-100D) Up to 8 panels now... Bought 4 New Edition recently ( RNG-100D-R) and not so happy, thanks to Amazon I returned for Old Edition. Vlad Gruetz (YT) Got these without knowing a darn thing about solar. Reason: Power outage/SHTF. Less wear and tear on my generator. I bought 2 panels, 20amp charge controller, 3 31 series deep cycle batteries and a 2000w inverter. 2 RENOGY panels work great in my area. Bright, sunny, high altitude.. recharge the batteries quick. Can run everything I need. Run a smart tv, lamp, laptop plugged in and a CPAP all night without hardly any drain and next day the RENOGY pump them right back up. Running a freezer, refrigerator, microwave, no issue for short time. More batteries and panels I could full time. Even in overcast conditions it still charges, just not quite as fast. If I had to do over, I would get the 30 amp controller for when/if I add more panels. No regrets buying RENOGY panels.
