I don't want to over-exercise my large breed, 75-lb. puppy, but I don't want to leave him home either. This way I have the best of both worlds ~ I can trot him easily alongside and when he tires, he can climb in the back. Or if I want to get out on a ride, he can come with me. One thing we did (as someone else suggested) was to put grommets in each corner of the mat and tie them to the sides so the mat doesn't slide around. Hopefully the video shows up which will demonstrate how easily my dog took to the cart.
