Bests & Worsts Reviews from Amazon

I bought this mat for a purpose other than it was intended for. I use it to keep my ball python’s bin warm. I have this mat under the bin and it keeps the plastic really nicely warm. I’ve had it for over a month and it seems very consistent (when I touch it it’s always warm. never hot, never cold), although I haven’t tested it with a thermometer. It may be that the mat isn’t enough for cold winter nights, but for the summer it’s been absolutely perfect. I think this heat mat is very multipurpose and can be used in any way you need a heat mat (warmth for animals, warm your slippers, keep plates warm, etc).
