Dream machine.
You know, I was honestly surprised with the critical reviews for this laptop. I read them, like most do, prior to purchase, just in case, purchased it anyway, then played around with it a bit, then before writing my own review decided to re-review the critical reviews to see if I could help alleviate anyone's purchasing decision in the future. You see, I honestly didn't think I'd love this laptop as much as I do. It's really only a middle of the road laptop as far as things go. I say that with the best intentions in mind, It's not some super gaming machine, or self replicating monster that will spit out nano-bots and scavenge your smart TV for components if you're running low on resources in the future. Don't laugh, I'm almost sure that's what people think they're purchasing now a days. Except they want it to be credit card thin, and speak into their mind, and they'd also like it if they didn't have to move their fingers at all when touching the keyboard, have it link neutrally so they never make a typo, BUT there have to be some very strict no no's written into that neural link, it can only read the typo part of your brain and not the, "Oooh check out the construction worker without a shirt on over there..." part of your brain, or the deal is off, but does that mean I still have to move my fingers to type?! Anyway, I diverge, but for good reason. I hope to suppress that part of all of us that immediately is unsatisfied no matter what we started off wanting with our little list of expectations and wishes and needs and wants when laptop shopping. I was very pleasantly surprised to stumble over this laptop and I'll tell you why. It offers a 15.6" Touch Screen, a full keyboard with side number pad and above number pad, backlit keyboard, touch responsive typing, 12 GB Ram, 1 TB HD, the processor runs at 2.7GHZ but can turbo to 3.5 GHZ, it's got 3 USB'S (2 of them being USB 3.0, and one 2.0), HDMI, Bluetooth, Media Card Reader, oh and it does that whole flip thing so you can use it like a tablet, because as I mentioned it's touch screen... and it's got about 9 hours of battery life, charges in about 3 hours. It's also super slim, and weighs next to nothing (at least to me, and I'm a chic). I won't argue it's the best option out there, but I have to say it's a great option for in between a mediocre 8 GB Ram 15.6" everyday home / work machine, and 16 GB ... loaded up battery draining gaming beast or on the flip side expensive battery saving work optimized never have to plug it in powered through a nuclear holocaust type laptop that will only run a notepad at 12% brightness, but never the less, will run it forever without ever having to be plugged back in, type machine. With this laptop I can run any game I've wanted, run Office, surf the web, upload and download with quickness, chat with my best friend using the webcam, program with my Arduino, run my sewing machine design software, and much more, and my laptop hasn't so much as hiccupped. Note to the people who had critical reviews: Hey, why don't you try updating Windows once in a while.....? It helps and stuff.
