Great show. Don't listen to the Nazi-defenders.
This show is great. Compelling story, excellent acting, and respectful of the source material. It generally maintains it's quality throughout, although the formula does start to get stale by the end of the series. It examines the good and bad qualities of both good and bad people and shows that it doesn't take a "good" person to do good things or a bad person to do bad things. The alternate reality created is very convincing and great detail has been taken for accuracy and realism. Anyone complaining about the last season, or just the premise of the show (overthrowing a literal Nazi regime) is pretty obviously projecting their political beliefs onto the show. These reviews are all off base, mostly because they are grasping at straws to defend literal Nazis, but also because their criticism is invalid. The show demonstrates that people are more than their beliefs and can be redeemed or doomed regardless of what side they're on and demonstrates that both sides are guilty of atrocities. There are no plainly "correct" choices, just "more correct", and that notion permeates every story told throughout the show. Saying simple statements like "SJW propaganda" is reducing the show to such a level that I wonder if these people even watched to the end or know that it was actually based on a book by one of the most influential authors of his generation.
