Bests & Worsts Reviews from Amazon

I purchased this cat house for stray kitties that I have been feeding. Opposums had started showing up burrowing into the areas under my deck where the kitties liked to stay which concerned me and also the cold that's setting in worried me. The cat house arrived well packed. The product was in great condition. There was no damage or fading to any of the pieces even the little kitty door at the bottom had survived the shipping unscathed. I set it up by myself with just a screw driver and I want to say altogether it took me 30 minutes and that was taking my time. This cat house has been fantastic. The first batch of kittens which are now quite big took to it immediately. There are 3 of the first litter left as one got hit by a car and all 3 could snuggle into the house at the same time. Slowly mama cat started taking to it and then the second litter of smaller kittens did too. I put a nice fluffy bed on the bottom floor and then sort of lined the bottom and side of the top floor with kitty mat beds. All the beds I bought were cheap and they had this thing where it says they radiate the cats heat back on them. What most excited me about this house was that after we had some torrential rains I went out to check the cat beds thinking they would be soaked. But I was very happy to see the cat house did not get water in it even though all that rain we had. my little cat beds were perfectly fine. And I guess last remark about the little cat house would be it is absolutely cute as a button. I love too that the top lid opens so you can easily get in there for cleaning or to rearrange the beds. None of the cats I have are huge. I'd say the mama and even her first litter of babies are about medium size cats. And of course the 2nd batch of kittens are t-tiny still. Only about 6 weeks or so old. I highly recommend this product and think it was a great investment as my stray kitties use it daily and nightly and they do really seem to love it.
