Purchased this item in July of 2015. It's now two years later and I have some feedback. The part at the bottom of the blade is made of rubber and WILL wear down to the point where it won't be useable. The motor itself has been fine for me and my daily smoothies. I'm now using the 2nd blade (that is flat, instead of the blades that stick up), but this too will soon wear down and I will no longer be able to use it unless i can buy new blades/housings. But for the better part of two years, it worked. But it will wear down on you...for the price of 18 dollars, you really can't expect it to last much longer than that, i suppose.
