I bought this tri-fold mattress because I had guests coming to town, one of whom has a back issue and cannot sleep on a couch or air mattress. As expected, it arrived with the air sucked out, so I opened the plastic wrap and left it out to inflate. A few hours later, I laid down on it, purely out of curiosity. My mind was instantly blown. I felt... nothing. Back pain that, for the past 15-20 years has served as a constant reminder of my existence, disappeared into a stream of tiny bubbles that flowed up and out of my body. My mind began to wander. How could something be so soft, yet so firm? The laws of physics had been broken. Involuntarily, I found myself having an out-of-body type experience normally achievable only with the aid of drugs or religion, or more likely, both. If it weren't for my impatient children dragging me off this heavenly mattress and straight onto the floor by my arms and legs so that they too, could experience a taste of mattress euphoria, I believe I would have met my maker and become the next messenger of God. UPDATE - Three years later this mattress is still the most comfortable mattress in our house. My son officially claimed it, paired it with a 3” foam mattress topper, and sleeps on it every night. Every time I try to force him to switch beds with me, he joyously reminds me that my eastern king bed literally won’t fit in his tiny room. I’m almost ready to switch rooms with the little twerp…
