Easy setup, quality output, attractive styling, and good apps for iOS and Mac make this a winner. I've worked in IT for many years, and have set up probably 1,000 printers by now, so to get a sense of a more typical user experience, I asked the wife to set this one up. What follows is her review. -Getting the printer out of the box Super easy, self-explanatory pictures on the box made it very easy to get the printer out of the box without any hassle. -Setting up cartridges and printer Very easy set up. Combination of pictures and written instructions work very well and the printer does the calibrating and everything it needs to do quietly and in a timely manner. -Setting up WiFi Took me two tries but the instructions were still good. Again pictures and text are very helpful, also helpful to have different instructions for different devices (phone, computer or Mac/PC). It didn't work out the first time but I don't know if that has anything to do with the computer or the WiFi in my place or the printer. It's working great now and the printer finds the WiFi without any issues. Overall super easy set up. Following the instructions step by step should get you to your end goal Although I had 4 boys running around playing a Nerf war, I still got it done. Love how easy scanning and printing is. Especially wireless. And the apps the on computer and phone are very easy, with clear menus. Good features like changing resolution and format of scanned docs are available. It's a beautiful printer, looks classy in matte black and glossy black. Makes good prints (haven't tried on photo paper yet). Touch screen is very convenient and responsive. Menu on printer is self-explanatory and intuitive. Noise level is normal to quiet. Scanning is fast and brings good results.
