Let’s Address Some Other Reviews
I had pink mealybugs on my hibiscus. The interwebs told me I needed Neem oil. I read lots of reviews and settled on this one. Let me address some of the reviews and the various concerns brought up by them. 1) I have absolutely no idea what the concentration of neem is vs everything else. Frankly, I also don’t care. 2) people seem to be deeply upset that it recommends you wear gloves and apply this carefully so as to not get it on your hands. I don’t put much stock in earnings so I held the hibiscus in my hands while spraying and figured if it started to burn or my skin started to fall off I’d wash it off. I was absolutely fine. I obviously wash my hands afterwards but trust me, this stuff isn’t going to hurt you. 3) yes, it works. I don’t follow the directions to spray in a 7 or 14 day cycle. I just spray whenever I notice a mealybug. I will say that if I spray in the morning the sun will burn the leaves wherever this has been pooling. So I now go out around dusk and spray so it sits all night and is dry the next morning. Best of luck to all my fellow gardeners!!
