I am someone who gets mysterious "morning allergies." I go to sleep without issues, and wake up with an insurmountable need to blow my nose the entire morning. Not sure what the problem is (according to test results, I'm allergic to just about everything), but it is particularly awful during the summer. I bought this air filter about 2-3 weeks ago and am amazed at the difference it makes. I run it all night on the lowest setting, which is wonderful white noise, and in the morning, I notice a HUGE difference in my allergies. They are not gone, but I would say they are 80% improved, which is enough to help me have a good start to the day. This is something I wish I'd purchased earlier. I will update this review if anything changes, but so far so good!
