I love this product. I use it for my college textbook, which as we know, are very large and HEAVY. My neck had been hurting from constantly looking down at my book. I was looking at book stands, but they all looked like cheap plastic that would break under the weight of my textbook. This easel holds the book upright. I feel like it's secure enough, but just in case it breaks after excessive use, since it's made of wood I think my husband will be able to fix it. It has a handle, but I won't be carrying it around. I love the drawer. It holds all my pencils, highlighters, post it notes, ect. They should really market this to college students. See attached pictures.
