2nd batch that I'm purchasing since amazon has the most affordable prices that even comes with prime shipping. Surprisingly, it's kind of hard to find this item even though I live in Los Angeles (for me at least) so I had to resort to purchasing it online. Asian supermarket stores only had them in syrup unfortunately. This product is amazing; it's soaked in lemon/water brine so the product can be preserved with minimal sodium which is awesome! What I like to do with them is drain them as well as I can and then soak it in sugar water for an hour or two to get rid of the sour taste from the lemon. I pat it dry once more then place it in whatever marinade or sauce that I want. My go to dish is bbq "pulled pork" that can be added in sandwiches, sloppy joes, or even on pizza. This is also a great vegan "tuna" alternative. Throw in some trade joe's vegan mayo, chopped apples and celery, raisins and you're set.
