I decided to use a friend's car as the guinea pig for this stuff; a 2005 Maxima that's been beaten and abused. Anyways, it's power steering rack was leaking worse than any I've ever seen (a quart every 20 minutes of driving). The Rack is $250 online and looks like a huge pain to replace, so figuring I couldn't make things any worse, I decided to try this stuff. My friend gave this bottle to me almost 2 years ago, but I've been too afraid to try it in any of my own vehicles... I added 1/3 of the bottle and topped off the power steering system with dex/merc ATF then immediately took it for a drive. After about 20 minutes the leak had completely stopped! I topped it off one more time and then she drove it home 100 miles to Cincinnati and it was still 100% full when she got there. It's been another few days and it's still full! I hope I come across some more leaky cars in the future so I can try this stuff out on other types of leaks! Only time will tell how long this stuff will actually last, but even if it buys just a few months I'll still be recommending this stuff to everyone I come across. **Update** It has been well over a year and the steering rack is still completely leak free!
