As a microbiologist, I was eager to properly test out EVLAs UV sterilizer, as I feel there is a lot of misleading information out there when it comes to effective sterilization during the pandemic. You will see from the attached video that EVLAs UV sterilizer works very well, and the 11-minute sterilization cycle killed all detectable bacteria on the phone and pacifier that I tested. For my test on a cloth face mask, it took the 21-minute sterilization cycle to get rid of all detectable bacteria. This, however, is to be expected as it's easier for bacteria to hide in the soft material of a face mask. Overall, under lab conditions, the EVLAs sterilizer did a great job in effectively sterilizing common household items. Although I tested for bacteria and not viruses, bacteria and viruses are both sensitive to UVC killing. Therefore, I believe that EVLAs sterilizer will help keep your family safe during the pandemic.
