I bought this bag as a last resort before taking my young cat to get her nails trimmed. I left the bag on the floor to allow her to sit on it and get used to it. The next day, I put her in the bag, zipped it up and took her outside. She is an indoor only kitty so the distraction was great enough that I trimmed all 10 nails with absolutely no trouble! Now she is sitting in it, wanting to go back outside so she is not associating the bag with the stress of nail clipping. Success!
