The mic alone is a very good quality. The boom has the XLR cable that runs on the outside of it. The boom is adjustable and holds the mic firm. There are two wind screens included in this set. The shock mount holds the mic firmly. The XLR cable from the power unit has a 3.5mm jack that plugs into my laptop. There is a USB audio adapter included. This does not provide full power, but it will allow the mic to be used on a computer that does not have a mic port. This type of mic should be used with phantom power. You can pick one of up on AMZ for about ten bucks. Overall, I am very pleased with this mic kit.
