Haters gonna hate!
Everyone said you couldn't put this through a splitter but I did! Check out my pictures, I even have it mounted to the window well window in my basement (first pic)! My second pic shows the antenna going into the input slot in my massive splitter (Comcast installed 5 years ago because I have 12 lines ran in the house), shown with a green arrow. I still have Comcast internet, so I wired the Comcast line-in directly into the line that goes to the jack where my router is plugged into, red arrow. The 3rd picture shows the antenna being plugged into an outlet near the splitter and breaker box.
Now for the review, I gave it 5 stars because I'm currently pulling 50-60 channels on 6 TVs in my house off this one antenna, I live 30 miles southwest of Chicago, and it's mounted in my basement window!!!! I mostly hooked this up for WGN because we like their news and they play Hawks/Sox games sometimes and sometimes Bears games are on local stations. Everything else I get through DirecTV Now for live TV. I might be able to get more channels and better signal on a few channels if I had it mounted on the main level or 2nd floor but its ugly and my splitter is in the basement anyway. I know my giant powered wall-mounted splitter is different than your normal 2-way splitter but I'm not sure if that is why my configuration works or not.
