I just received this purse and I’m excited to use it! Just switched my purses over. I’m not sure why so many people are upset about the straps being on one side. One side is still looped through the rings that are attached to the other side, so it doesn’t fall open while you’re using it or anything. It’s made that way so you can very easily transition it from purse to backpack. It’s beyond simple to switch, you just pull the straps to the side to create arm holes. I personally shortened the straps a bit to use as a backpack because I have a short torso, but that took me all of 30 seconds to do. I also read some reviewers saying the straps being on one side made it awkward to carry or “bunch up strangely”, but I didn’t find that to be the case yet. I actually found it worked better for me than a regular purse. I always tend to have the outside strap on purses fall off my shoulder easily, but I didn’t have that issue with this one. It also might be the textured side to the straps making it have slightly more traction. I bought this for my upcoming Australia trip so I can use it for a carry on backpack and also use it for my purse when I arrive and I’m excited to see how it works as a travel bag. Very happy so far!
