I had a problem (I thought) with the charger when I first tried to use it. i put 8 batteries in it and plugged the USB cable into my wall charger plug. Both displays stated to flash and it didn't appear to be charging. I called their service number and it said their mailbox was not set-up...oh well. Imagine my surprise, when a few minutes later...they called back! I explained my problem and was told someone would get right on it. After talking to service and re-reading the manual, I found out that they are serious about the power outputs requirements from the wall plug...5V 2A...5 Volts 2 Amperes Maximum. Mine was not putting out near that much It put out 5 Volts (the standard) and only 550mA...Milliamps...just over one half of 1 amp. With that size wall plug it could only charge half of the rated number of batteries at a time... 4 instead of 8. But it did that perfectly, no problems at all. Just a few hours after this I received an email from Jackson, an EBL service tech explaining the very same thing I found out...that my wall charger was not big enough. In these days of self distancing, the customer service I received was flat out amazing! They called back almost immediately, and I had my answer in hours not days. This is a great charger, just make sure your wall plug is up to it.
