Great for reducing postpartum belly.
After giving birth in February 2017, there was still a big, stubborn postpartum belly that just wouldn't go away. To help reduce my postpartum belly, my mom recommended Mamisan.
As postpartum belly care:
Mamisan is an anti-inflammatory ointment that is very popular in Mexico. Soccer players and the elderly use it all the time for muscle pain & inflammation. My grandma uses it for her knee pains. It's also a popular ointment among mexican midwives and moms-to-be as part of postpartum belly care. That's because it helps the uterus and stomach muscles shrink by reducing inflammation.
How to use it:
1. Use a generous amount of Mamisan and massage it on your abdomen.
2. Cover your abdomen with a waist trimmer belt for optimal results.
3. When applying mamisan, try to shower the next day. I Apply it at night & shower the next day. That way your skin absorbs the anti-inflammatory properties.
4. Repeat for the duration of your 5 weeks of postpartum care.
Ointment Texture:
It's texture is smooth, transparent and a little sticky/oily. It smells like mint too. And it washes off easily. The best way to describe it is that is similar to the texture and ordor of Vic's ointment.
Overall, I love mamisan. It's what all the ladies in my family use to help reduce their belly after delivering babies. I've been using this stuff for 5 months now (February-July) since my baby was born. And it works.
