Fancier foot baths from both Homedics and Consir cost 3 or 4 times as much and their bells and whistles don’t work. The “infra” heat doesn’t keep the water warm and the massagers are usually spinning doohickeys at the bottom of the basin. This thing is only $20. There are no infra whatsits nor are there spinny things at the bottom of the basin. It does what I need it to do. Hold water so I can soak me feet pre pedicure. The bubbles are a plus because they mix the foot salts with the water without any effort on my part. The splash guard is flimsy but there’s a lot less of a mess than my last one of these and it cost half the price. I’m happy with it because after spending way too much on bells and whistles that don’t work, I got exactly what I paid for. If I wanted bells and whistles, I’d be upset but I’d be living in fantasyland to expectant for $20. The plain foot basin that does nothing other than hold water is $13. For $8 more, I got a pumice stone, some textured spots to rub my feet against for fun and a pumice stone. It’s exactly what I wanted and expected.
