After a disaster in buying my first hoop from someone else I was cautious about getting another. My desire for a hoop overcame this and I did take a chance on this hoop. When I saw the size of the box when it came I was worried because it was much smaller than the 42 inch that I ordered. It became clear once I opened it. I had to complete the last step which was simple as attaching the ends together. I had to put one end of the tupe in hot water to soften it before I connected them. It slipped right in with no problem. I had to wait a few moments for it to cool and contract before I used it. Wow, what a feeling to have it go around my waist and massage my back, stomach and sides. It is so durable too. I have had it for a couple of months now and have had no problems. I could have added water to increase the weight to 3 or 4 pounds but felt that 2 lb was enough. I hoop dance to music for exercise and it is fantastic! I have lost inches in my hips and waist.
